The mission of the Christian Education Ministry is to provide comprehensive, all-inclusive (adults, young adult, children & youth) opportunities to instruct, develop and disciple the “Whole Person” through rightly dividing the Word of truth using the Holy Bible as our standard.  This ministry works to offer biblical-based, real and relevant learning opportunities to meet the needs of the congregant to mature in their relationship with God and to strengthen our church family and the surrounding community.  Our goal is to encourage others to develop a deeper relationship with Jesus through Bible study and prayer.

Tuesday Bible Study

The study of God’s word is central to the life and mission of the Liberty Baptist Church.  Adult Bible Study meets every Tuesday evening at 7:30 PM for an engaging, dynamic and informative exploration of the Holy Scriptures. All are welcome, but be warned: continued exposure to God’s word will change your life.

Men’s Bible Study

In conjunction with the United Men of Liberty Men’s Ministry, the Men’s Bible Study offers a unique opportunity for men to gather to study God’s word, with a particular focus on topics relevant to life as Christian men. Men’s Bible Study is held every second Saturday at 12 noon, with a fellowship lunch.

Women's Bible Study

In conjunction with the Women’s Ministry, the Women’s Bible study brings women together to grow together. Women's Bible Study is held virtually every third Saturday at 11 AM. The Women's Ministry meets quarter for connection activities, prayer and fellowship.

Seniors Bible Study

In conjunction with the Senior Circle, the Senior Bible Study meets once a month on Mondays at 12 noon. Their study is designed to address the interests and needs of our seasoned saints. It includes a time of prayer and provides an opportunity for participants to share their wisdom, followed by a period of food and fellowship.

Sunday School

Classes are held every Sunday from 9:30 am – 10:30 a.m. for adults and children. Classes give all ages the opportunity to study and discuss God’s Word and to join other disciples to learn and grow through His Word.

Vacation Bible School

The Annual Vacation Bible School (VBS) provides a unique approach to learning the Bible and retaining an understanding of Godly principles presented in the Word of God. VBS allows an environment for early spiritual growth, produces a great opportunity for outreach, and gives members of the Liberty Baptist Church a greater opportunity for fellowship.

Seminars/Classes

As a member church of the National Capital Baptist Convention, and the Congress of Christian Education, our church offers opportunities for members to attend seminars and classes on various topics throughout the year.
