Missionary Ministry

The mission of the Missionary Ministry (Sr. & Jr. Missionaries) is the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19-20.  Through our community outreach within the church and local community, and our national and international partnerships projects, we strive to fulfill and perform the duties of Matthew 25:35-36 with commitment, prayer, service, and dedication.

We convene with and support the mission and ministry objectives of the National Capital Baptist Convention of Washington DC & Vicinity, Lott Carey Baptist Foreign Mission Convention, and the National Baptist Convention, USA.

Scholarship Ministry

The Scholarship Ministry aims to provide financial support and opportunities to graduating high school seniors desiring to further their academic development by attending an institution of higher learning. The committee gives scholarships to high school seniors who have been a member of Liberty for a minimum of two years and have participated in youth activities, on a regular basis, during the last two years of high school. The committee also assists undergraduate students who are having financial difficulties.

Community Service Ministry

The mission of the Community Service Ministry is to encourage, coordinate, and deliver services and support to the local community with a strong emphasis on hands-on activities that improve the lives of those less fortunate in our community. The CSM provides opportunities for church members to volunteer and helps them learn ways to serve the community.
